Innovision P4 LED Outdoor High Brightness LED Display installed in South Africa

We are horned to announce the successful installation of a cutting-edge P4 LED outdoor high brightness display in South Africa. Our job began in May when we shipped a total of 192 pieces of P4 LED Outdoor 960x960mm panels to our client in South Africa. This week marked a significant milestone as the client took possession of the goods and commenced the meticulous assembly of the outdoor LED screens with high-brightness. Each display is set to comprise four units, with 48 panels forming the backbone of each unit. The choice of Magnesium alloy for the cabinets was deliberate due to its exceptional anti-rust properties and efficient heat dissipation capabilities. As an added bonus, the cost of utilizing this material proved to be highly competitive compared to standard steel or aluminum cabinets.

Given the persistent exposure to intense sunlight, the outdoor LED screen necessitated a high brightness level exceeding 8000 nits. To meet this demanding requirement, we carefully selected high brightness LEDs with low current. This strategic choice not only serves to minimize power consumption but also extends the overall lifespan of the LEDs, ensuring long-term performance excellence.

Understanding the client's concerns regarding power costs, we proactively implemented a range of innovative power-saving solutions for the outdoor LED screens. Firstly, our selection of high brightness LEDs with low current was instrumental in minimizing power usage without compromising on performance. Furthermore, we adopted a 4.2V power supply to drive the display, complemented by the integration of power-saving IC drivers to operate the display efficiently. As a result of these collective measures, the maximum power consumption of the display has been significantly reduced to a mere 320W/m2. This figure stands in stark contrast to the standard display's maximum power consumption, which typically exceeds 700W/m2. The substantial reduction in power consumption directly translates to tangible cost savings for the client, marking a pivotal milestone in our commitment to delivering sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
